Taare Zameen Par music launched

Sunday, November 11, 2007: (Mumbai) :With the huge scale on which films are promoted these days, it's quite refreshing to see a relatively sombre music release.But then, maybe that's all part of the plan to stand out. Aamir Khan decided to launch the music of Taare Zameen Par at the south Mumbai apartment of veteran actor Shammi Kapoor."I have tremendous respect for Mr Kapoor and so this was why I decided to release it at his place," said Aamir Khan, Actor.The music of Aamir's first home production since Lagaan has been composed by the trio of Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.Tare Zameen Par tells the sensitive story of the relationship between a child and his teacher.The film began with Amol Gupta in the director's chair but Aamir took over the reins of the hot seat after he wasn't satisfied with the initial rushes. The film is slated for release by the end of the year.
