Wasting no tears and time on her failed relationship, the doe-eyed-beauty is busy making movies and baby plans. And before you jump to any conclusions let us inform you that Kangana’s sudden maternal desire is nothing but a want for having a big family some day.The actress, who is currently shooting in Switzerland, is feeling down and out as she is missing her family. Feeling gloomy, the actress told a news daily, “This place looks so much like Manali. My family is waiting for me in Mumbai and here I am, in Switzerland.”
But what’s shocking is the status on her Facebook account, which states that the long-legged lass desperately wants to have a bunch of children. And if the desire for baby wasn’t enough to raise brows, Kangana tops it by adding that she wants several grandchildren too.
Her status message reads: ‘I’m in Switzerland and this place reminds my family and me of Manali. I can’t wait to have kids and grandkids.’
Talking about her Facebook message, the actress told a news daily, “All I can see here are old couples spending time with their children and grandchildren. Be it mountain climbing, sitting in cafeterias, or walking on the streets, the tots are with their grandparents. It makes me long for grandchildren.”
Well, we would tell this pretty dame to start hunting for a beau first and kids will follow. Right guys?

Priyanka Chopra dropped from '7 Days In Paris'

Priyanka Chopra has been dropped from 7 Days In Paris following her high salary demands, according to reports.
The actress reportedly refused to negotiate with producers on her fee to star alongside Imran Khan in the film.
A source told The Times of India: "This time, she was not so lucky. The producers would rather wait and sign someone else rather than pay such a huge sum."
Chopra recently secured a large salary for starring in Yash Raj Films's Impossible, opposite Uday Chopra.
However, her official spokesperson confirmed that 7 Days In Paris's producers were unable to meet her financial requirements."Priyanka has not been offered Gadhvi's film," they explained.

That’s not all, she wanted to work with her own staff, stylist, make-up artist, hair dresser et al who would have to be flown to Paris with her. When they protested, Kats threw a tantrum till they relented.

Factors like money, too, don’t count for this gorgeous girl who is in a happy place in her career, simply because she’s not avaricious. Deepika who saw Kuch Kuch Hota Hai when she was in Class 6, still says bagging Om Shanti Om with Shah Rukh Khan, 44, remains one of the best moments in her life.
And, though there are legions of fans who wish to see her team up with her real-life sweetheart Ranbir Kapoor, the actress says there is no project on the anvil with the two of them.

DNA reports confirm rape in Shiney case

The police claimed that the DNA test reports have confirmed Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja had raped his domestic maid even as he moved a court for bail.The DNA report has confirmed rape of the victim,” said Additional Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta.The report has corroborated the allegations in the FIR that the actor had raped his domestic help,” Gupta added.The actor is lodged in Arthur Road central jail after a court remanded him to judicial custody on the charge of raping the 20-year-old maid at his residence on June 14.
In another development, the actor, in judicial custody till July 2, has moved a sessions court for bail contending he was not required for interrogation and all tests have concluded. His bail plea would be heard in due course.The medical examination of the victim, who hails from Roha in Raigad district, has already shown injuries on her private parts.The medical report of Ahuja had also shown an abrasion on his hand.
However, the blood and urine samples suggested that the actor was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs when he allegedly committed the crime. Also, nail samples of the victim have been sent for forensic tests to gather corroborative evidence in the case, the police said adding the report is awaited.

Katrina Kaif could not hold her tears on watching her performance in ‘New York’ at a special screening at Yashraj studio. Her performance has impressed her so much that she could not believe that she has actually done this. To Kat, this is the finest performance of her till date. “It was embarrassing. Bipasha refuses to give in to Hollywood star's demand

Bipasha Basu has recently signed an international project with Hollywood star Billy Zane. But she is not willing to bend down to anyone’s demands.
She has made it clear that she is not going to go out of her way to keep the makers of the film happy. And the makers of the film just tasted one such experience.
A photo shoot with the main leads of the film had been planned and they were to even do a look test together. The shoot had been planned in Los Angeles because Billy Zane did not want to travel to India just for a photo shoot.
The producers felt they could convince Bips easily to fly down to LA. But Bipasha refused.
Her argument was that if the film was to be shot in India and Zane had signed the film, then it should not be a great deal for him to come to India for the shoot.
Since it is a joint venture, Bipasha wanted to assert her stand as well. The producers have not managed to convince Billy yet, but Bips is not relenting too. Let’s see who gives in first.

A little birdie revealed that right after spending some nice food time, when the actress stepped out of a restaurant on to the streets of the city, she was caught bang in the middle of a mad scene. People were jumping up and down on top of the cars and smashing beer bottles.Well as found out, it was not really a street fight at all.And our pretty babe was quite safe. Kareena, Katrina have sexy bodies: Akshay

Akshay Kumar has worked with both Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in several films, but can't decide who is better. The action king says both are "wonderful actresses" and have "sexy bodies".
"Both Kareena and Katrina are really good but who is the better among them depends on their roles in the films. Otherwise, both of them have sexy bodies and are absolutely wonderful actresses," said Akshay when asked to choose his favourite of the two.
Akshay has done four films with Katrina including Namastey London and Singh Is Kinng, while he has worked with Kareena in five that include hits Ajnabee and Aitraaz. The two are set to scorch the screen once again in their upcoming action-cum-romantic drama Kambakkht Ishq, which releases this coming Friday.
"In Kambakkht Ishq, Kareena has performed very well. Her character required to answer back at me and be strong and she has portrayed it in a powerful, yet lovable way. On the other hand, even Katrina was really good in Namastey London. So it's not really about my choice... it all depends on their roles," the actor said.
Akshay, who has spent more than 18 years in the Hindi film industry, says acting with a new league of actresses is a learning experience.
"As a senior actor, I don't always have to give out tips to the younger ones. In fact, I feel I can learn a lot from the younger generation because they have new ways of acting and a different approach to work.
"I cannot particularly point out what I have learnt from them (Kareena and Katrina) yet, but yes, working with them was a learning experience," said the actor, who has also teamed up with Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Ayesha Takia.
Akshay plays a Hollywood stuntman in Kambakkht Ishq, which also boasts of big Hollywood names like Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh - working with whom has been a "dream come true" for the actor.
In the film, Akshay has done what he is best at - action and daredevilry - something that had taken a backseat in his career for a while.
"I decided to stop doing stunts till Aarav (son) turns at least six. Now I'm back at it again. In Blue, which is an action thriller, I have done some death-defying stunts like the one where I had to swim 150 feet underwater with 30-40 sharks. But I will talk about it sometime later," he said.
At the moment, the 41-year-old actor is pinning hopes on Sajid Nadiadwala's Kambakkht Ishq to bail him out after his much-publicised films Chandni Chowk To China and 8X10 Tasveer fizzled out at the box office.
"I'm expecting great response for this film. Though I had worked very hard in Chandni Chowk... , the response didn't turn out to be as expected. Some people and critics didn't like it and 8X10 Tasveer was more like an art film, which has a niche market in India. Kambakkht Ishq is a complete entertainer and I hope the audience appreciates it," he said.

Sanjay Gadhvi dumps Priyanka?

If reports are to be believed, Priyanka Chopra has just lost out on 7 Days in Paris.Mumbai Mirror reports that the star was approached to star in the film to be directed by Sanjay Gadhvi. However riding on the success of Fashion and the latest Yash Raj project she’s just bagged, Priyanka Chopra reportedly demanded tad too much as fees.”The producers were shocked when Priyanka asked for such a huge fee (Rs 5 cr).
They tried to reason with her but she refused to relent,” the paper quoted a source as having said. Officially however, Priyanka Chopra’s spokesperson insisted that the star was not approached for the film at all.The paper also reports that Katrina Kaif, who reportedly turned down the role earlier, might agree to do the film ‘as the script is being reworked’.
Meanwhile the makers of 7 Days in Paris are also said to be in ‘advanced talks’ with Genelia and Asin Thottumkal.

Health comes first for Shahrukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan is in no mood to take any more chances with his health. His film, Ra 1 to be directed by Anubhav Sinha, will only go on the floors next year as Shah Rukh has not recovered fully from his shoulder injury. As a result, the film will roll in mid 2010 instead of September 2009. A source said, “SRK has been suffering because of his shoulder injury. He had injured himself on the sets of Dulha Mil Gaya a few months ago. After his surgery, SRK started shooting for Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan, which he will soon complete. However, he decided to temporarily put Ra 1 on hold as he is required to do some serious action sequences in the film.
SRK decided to push Ra 1 to 2010 after he recently went for a check-up in the US where he is currently shooting for Karan’s film. After the check-up, SRK felt the time is not right to do the action film as there is quite a high risk that his injury will aggravate if he doesn’t take it easy. Now, SRK has decided to first start Farah Khan’s film Happy New Year.This is the second time that Ra 1 has been put on hold. It was first supposed to go on the floors in February 2009 but was pushed to September due to SRK’s injury. The actor was so excited about the action film that he had planned to go on a strict diet to get in shape.
Shah Rukh plays a superhero in Ra 1, which is full of SFX and state-of-the-art gizmos just like Bond films. SRK was so excited about this science fiction film that he had even suggested the title. Director Anubhav Sinha patiently heard us out and promised to call back but he was later unavailable for comment.

Director Imtiaz Ali wanted Dippy for the film, while producer Saif later confessed he regretted not having Bebo in the film. Deepika says, “Love Aaj Kal is a special film. And I’m planning to have a special screening for all the special people in my life my family, my boyfriend, my four best friends Sneha, Divya, Hiteshi and Srila from Bangalore, Farah Khan Shah Rukh and others who made my journey in life and career unforgettable for me.
I want to show this film to all the wonderful people in my life.While it’s obvious her producer and co-star in Love Aaj Kal Saif Ali Khan will be part of the trial, his girlfriend Kareena won’t be invited.The actress recalls one scene that she loves from the film. “It was at a typical Punjabi dhaba in Delhi. I was supposed to get drunk and get up on a table and dance. I was to lose my balance and fall, and Saif was supposed to grab me and break my fall.
But he misjudged where I was going to fall, I lost my step and almost fell on the ground flat on my face! Fortunately, Saif managed to grab the end of my kurta and I didn’t hurt myself badly. It was a difficult scene, because I don’t drink at all so I had to imagine how it is to really get drunk!”

Deepika doesn’t mind Saif touching her butt

If ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ has hit the headlines for Akshay and Kareena’s ten kisses then ‘Love Aaj Kal’ went a step ahead with Saif touching Deepika’s butt. “Gone are the days when we had two flowers nodding on screen to depict a kiss. Today, since Saif and I are playing a couple in the movie, we have to touch and even kiss each other. Not only the West, the whole world is in a state of shock due to Michael Jackson’s sudden death and he is fondly remembered by our Bollywood folks:

Deepika ignores Bebo

Deepika Padukone is all exited about her upcoming flick Love Aaj Kal and is planning a special screening of her flick for B-Wood.
Deepika says, “Love Aaj Kal is a special film. And I’m planning to have a special screening for all the special people in my life my family, my boyfriend, my four best friends Sneha, Divya, Hiteshi and Srila from Bangalore, Farah Khan , Shah Rukh and others who made my journey in life and career unforgettable for me. Apparently her co-star Saif is also on the guest list but the person she forgot or rather ignored to invite is Saif’s girlfriend Kareena Kapoor.
Does it have to do with Saif’s constant yapping of having Kareena in the movie instead of Deepika?

Shahrukh Khan takes a sabbatical from action!

Shah Rukh, who has always been on the run, is slowing down these days. His films have not released this year apart from his extended special appearance in ‘Billu’. And latest news has it that he is taking a sabbatical from action flicks owing to his shoulder injury. The forever energetic star stamina is breaking at last. The news may come as a disappointment to those who were looking forward to see King Khan as a superhero in ‘Ra 1’ to be directed by Anubhav Sinha. The film will roll in mid 2010 instead of September 2009. A source said to a news daily, “SRK has been suffering because of his shoulder injury.
He had injured himself on the sets of ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ a few months ago. After his surgery, SRK started shooting for Karan Johar’s ‘My Name is Khan’, which he will soon complete.However, he decided to temporarily put ‘Ra 1’ on hold as he is required to do some serious action sequences in the film. SRK decided to push ‘Ra 1’ to 2010 after he recently went for a check-up in the US where he is currently shooting for Karan’s film. After the check-up, SRK felt the time is not right to do the action film as there is quite a high risk that his injury will aggravate if he doesn’t take it easy. Now, SRK has decided to first start Farah Khan’s film ‘Happy New Year.
According to reports, this is the second time that ‘Ra 1’ has been put on hold. It was to go on the floors in February 2009 but was pushed to September due to SRK’s injury. Shah Rukh was very excited about the action flick and had suggested the title also. The film is said to be full of SFX and state-of-the-art gizmos just like Hollywood films.

Katrina Kaif is really in great demand in Bollywood. Even Kareena Kapoor has started to ape her.According to the latest reports, Kareena Kapoor will also sport a “Barbie doll-look” in the action thriller. Katrina’s make-up artist Mallika Bhat says “One of Kareena’s looks inthe film is inspired by Barbie doll.In Kambakkht Ishq, which is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Kareena stars alongside superstar Akshay Kumar who plays a Hollywood stuntman.
It also stars Hollywood biggies like Sylvester Stallone, Brandon Routh and Denise Richards. According to Bhat, Kareena’s different looks in the film have a lot to do with the progression of her character. Bhat, who was responsible for Deepika Padukone’s Chinese looks in Chandni Chowk To China, says Kareena too loves slipping into the glamorous look. Coupled with Bhat’s make-up techniques, Mumbai-based hairstylist Pompy Hans worked on Kareena’s hair for the film.

Brothers Left Salman alone

Looks like the Khan Brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan don’t need elder brother Salman Khan anymore. For his latest home production ‘Kissan’, Sohail Khan didn’t cast Salman Khan even for the role of special appearance. When asked the reason behind doing so, Sohail Khan said he didn’t want to corrupt the film by using too many super stars in the film. Salman Khan, who is well known in the industry for not only being a good actor but also being a good brother too, is left all alone by his siblings today.
Sohail Khan said that he did not cast Salman Khan in the film, as it was not required by script and as he has something nice to put across to the audience he didn’t want to corrupt the film buy casting his big brother Salman Khan in it. Salman Khan has always been a part of Sohail Khan’s home production. Be it films like Hello Brother, Heroes or Hello, Salman Khan has done his bit of being available for his brothers and promoting their movies.
Then why is it that the Khan Brothers don’t need him this time. Is it the fear of Salman Khan snatching away their part of attention from the audience or is it something else?

SRK to get honourary doctorate from British university

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to receive an honorary doctorate in arts & culture from a prestigious university in Britain, which hailed the star as “King of Bollywood.Khan will be honoured by the University of Bedfordshire on July 10.
“I am delighted that Routes to Roots nominated me for the honorary doctorate in arts and culture from the Bedfordshire University UK and it will be my pleasure to receive it personally on 10th July in London,” Khan said in a statement.
The actor was nominated by an NGO Routes to Roots which has people like Anuradha Mahindra, Juhi Chawla and Mahesh Bhatt among its patrons.

Amitabh remembers Michael Jackson

The pop icon Michael Jackson breathed his last on Friday morning due to cardiac arrest. His name will always remain evergreen in the history of music as he has introduced the world to a new version of music. Not only Hollywood but Bollywood also remembered the pop star in their own way and among the Bollywood celebrities is superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Big B remembers Michael as an ‘exceptional artiste’. He wrote on his blog, "It was in the mid-70s that lightning stuck and from it emerged this grown up version of Michael Jackson singing, moving and dancing like he was from some other planet". "Mesmerised by his brilliance in each and every department of music and performance, he changed the very psyche, of not just the kind of music he was making, but also the psyche of the listening audience. Nothing compared to him," the actor, who is in London, further wrote.Big B recalled the day when Michael Jackson visited to India and how his concert in Mumbai had shook ‘Pratiksha’ as music and lights echoed and flashed throughout the night. He too shared with us the memory when Michael by mistake knocked his hotel door in New York. He even remembered the days when he used to dress up small Abhishek like Michael and made him danced to the tune of his thriller.

Bollywood comes to Healdsburg?

When I heard a Bollywood film crew was invading Healdsburg, I had to laugh: Could there be a more unlikely setting for the typical Mumbai movie masala than Alexander Valley?
Just as I was conjuring nightmare visions of the dapper, landed gentry of Healdsburg breaking into song and dance (another lame wine auction skit?), former Healdsburg council member Lisa Schaffner called to confirm that she’d opened up her house for filming along Greens Drive near Tayman Park golf course.
“They actually built my home - the interior of my home in Mumbai and filmed all the interior scenes back in India,” she said. “And now they’re doing garage and backyard and street and neighborhood shots for the next couple of weeks in Healdsburg.”
The film is “My Name is Khan.” And the most prolific film industry in the world has brought their big guns to Wine Country. Super-popular young director Karan Johar is known for his romantic comedies and love stories. Lead actor Shahrukh Khan is one of the top-paid actors in Bollywood - one of the “Three Khans” of Bollywood royalty, along with fellow stars Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. And lead actress Kajol Mukherjee is making somewhat of a comeback after taking time off to have a baby. The two actors were last seen together in Johar’s “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham” in 2001.
Also, actor Tanay Cheda, who took on the “middle Jamar” role in “Slumdog Millionaire,” is playing the childhood version of Shahrukh Khan’s character in “My Name is Khan.”
For the sake of perspective, I called my friend Vipul Sheth, president of the North Bay Indo-American Association. “This is huge - are you kidding me?” he said, awaiting a return flight to Santa Rosa in the Minneapolis airport. “I can’t wait to get back to Sonoma County!”
Based on a true story, the film focuses on an Indian man, who suffers from Asperger’s syndrome and lives in America. Screenwriter Shibani Bathija describes it this way: “It’s a love story of a Muslim man with Asperger’s navigating a complex world with the simplicity and strength of his humanity.” Filming resumes Monday through Wednesday next week in Healdsburg.

Prime Minister promises support to film industry

Yesterday, delegation of Film Industry led by Mahesh Bhatt along with Amit Khanna, Mukesh Bhatt and Manmohan Shetty, met His Honorary Dr. Manmohan Singh, The Honourable Prime Minister of India.
The Prime Minister was very appreciative of the Indian cinema and hailed it as an important cultural asset for the country. He also promised that he would do all that he could to support the film industry.
He also promised to look into the recommendation of I.C.E (Information-Communication-Entertainment Committee) set by him earlier. His message was “Think BIG! Indian cinema must flourish!”
Post their meeting with the Prime Minister, Mahesh Bhatt, Amit Khanna, Mukesh Bhatt and Manmohan Shetty also met the Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee, who said that he completely agreed with the fact that the Indian film industry deserves recognition and support from the Government. He also agreed that the industry serves as the cultural ambassador of India in abroad and promotes the Indian culture globally.

Soha-Kunal Called It’s Off

Another Bollywood couple parted their ways as Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu called it’s off to each other. The actors come close to each other on the sets of Dhoondte Reh Jaoge, in which they were casted opposite each other. But now even if they broke up, they don’t have any hard feeling for each other and still friends.
Few months ago there was news that Kunal headed to Goa to be with Soha when he learnt that Siddharth her co-star from Rang De Basanti is spending good time with her over there. May be the rift between them started since then. One source revealed, “They parted in a very dignified manner. There is no animosity on either side. They are still friends.”
But when it asked to both of them, instead of confirming their split they don’t even accepted that they were involved romantically before.
“That’s because we are not working on any film together,” said Kunal.
However Soha said, “Since we actresses seem to have been created more to romance our co-stars and less to act in films, it is only natural and fitting that during Dhoondte Reh Jaoge and 99, Kunal and I were ‘paired up’ by the media, and now that we are no longer working together, we have ‘broken up’. For my future boyfriends, please refer to my list of anticipated releases.”

Karan Protest Against Racism Attacks

As we know that Indian students are facing racism attacks in Australia, producer-director Karan Johar expressed in disapproval in his own way. Karan’s untitled production was supposed to shoot in Australia, but now he is planning to do it in US to condemn the racial attacks. That is expected from him as his films are always NRI oriented and he himself had studied abroad.
A source revealed, “Initially, Australia was finalised for the shoot. Now the shooting schedule has been shifted to the US. Karan did not want to shoot in a country where the Indian students are facing racism. Since he is in the US now, where he is shooting for My Name Is Khan, he thought that the other film could be easily shifted here.”
The film is being directed by Siddharth Malhotra which stars actors like Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in the lead. It is a remake of Hollywood filmStepmom.
But when asked to the director, he gave a diplomatic answer. “Nothing has been confirmed as of now. We are still exploring all the locations. Whichever location suits the film better will be finalised. At the end of the day, it’s the producers call. Everything will be finalised by mid-July,” said the director. Shooting for the film will start in October.

Mallika Found Fan in Greek Musician Yanni

The 54-year-old Greek musician seems like become a fan of our own Bollywood hottie Mallika Sherawat as he dedicates his new song Changes to the actress at the concert Yanni Voices in Los Angeles. This is for the first time that Yanni has dedicated his composition to anyone. It was a crowd of 7,000 music enthusiasts where Yanni announced, “This song is for Mallika Sherawat. One of a kind.”
You must be wondering where the duo met. Well Mallika is in LA for post-production of her forthcoming film Hisss. However they first encountered on the microblogging website. She said, “…then he asked me, ‘May I, Your Majesty?’ and proceeded to kiss my hand.”
According to the sources, the musician had invited Mallika to attend his LA concert, to which she put condition that only if he dedicate a song to her. The video screen was showing images of Yanni’s performance in India at Taj Mahal in March 1997 when he was singing for the actress.
However Mallika couldn’t stop talking about it as she writes on her Twitter page “It was awesome! …I so wish my brother Vikram was there,” wrote Mallika.

Karisma made her debut in the year 1991 with Prem Qaidi and went on to do some successful flicks with her two co-stars – Salman Khan and Govinda.

I finally asked him to do a net search on my name. Even after that, his ego didn’t allow me to go. So, he kept me for a bit longer and then let me go.”

Saifeena on the sets of Karan Johars’s Qurbaan

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are now coming together in their upcoming movie named as Qurban. The movie was earlier named as Jehadbut Rensil has now officially named the movie as Qurban.Both the actors revealed about the flick Jehad some time ago, but sinceRensil is not sure about the title of the film, so now Saif and Kareena has to eat their words. As soon as the title Qurbaan is made official, Karan and Rensil are planning to call a press conference to correct the media perception that film is Jehad.Since Kareena and Saif in their interviews has taken Jehad name as theirupcoming film ,it will take a time for Jehad coming out of people’s mind.
